Congratulations to Assistant Professor Jutamas Chotirat and Research Team on Publication in a Top SCOPUS Q1 Journal

The School of Architecture and Design at Walailak University proudly congratulates Assistant Professor Jutamas Chotirat from the Department of Architecture, along with collaborators Supuck Prugsiganont Van Der Hoeven and Tanut Waroonkun from the Faculty of Architecture, Chiang Mai University, for their recent research article entitled:

“Design and Improvement Guidelines to Promote Well-being for Patients and Their Family in Government Tertiary Care Hospitals.”

This article was accepted for publication on June 23, 2025, in the international journal Frontiers in Built Environment, section Indoor Environment, a highly respected journal indexed in SCOPUS Q1 with a percentile of 80.

The research focuses on design strategies to enhance the well-being of patients and their families within government tertiary care hospitals, emphasizing health-promoting environments and indoor environmental quality. The study offers valuable insights into creating sustainable, supportive, and healing spaces in healthcare settings.
