“Eating Matter”

The theme of AD International Workshop 2021 is to practise designing to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Today, people around the world are aware of the predicament, thereby modifying their lifestyle of living, communicating, travelling, and eating. Hygiene masks have become the indispensable piece of our apparel for our norm of everyday lives. Social distancing is everywhere priority. Every item of shopping is depended upon online approach. Furthermore, technology has become an integral part of life. The result of these events of life has been called “new normal”.

In terms of design to adjust to the current situation and to support our needs, the place called “architectural space” has to be improved to meet the idea of new living with safety, convenience and happiness. Our workshop’s brief would like to concentrate on a subject of “EAT” that is related to “ENVIRONMENT”.
