Online learning has become new normal for about two years.  The practice responds to the public policy in order to prevent the pandemic of Covid-19.  It is a very difficult time in terms of socio-economic situation, effecting every walk of life.  Foe educational sector, although the advent of recent communication technology, the capability of teaching and learning may be in doubt and find some obstacles.

           School of Architecture and Design at Walailak University has understood the situation and has endeavoured to balance between our safety from the pandemic and the efficiency of our study.  It is generally known that architecture and design is a subject concentrating upon practice-based learning in studios.  Nevertheless, we care more on life-saver, and no group gathering.  As a result, adaptation of both academic staff and students for online learning is a must, thereby impacting on teaching and learning.  Everyone needs more times to explain, give samples and welcome to comments.  Everyone has to intend on their lessons in such a period of times.  As well as, it is an opportunity to learn more and do more on digital technology by ourselves.  Hopefully, when the situation returns to ordinary, we, students and lecturers from Walailak University will be able to move forwards to our creative future.
